This small, charming Bed & Breakfast in a historic brick town home dating to 1835 boasts an ideal location in downtown Portland. It is around the corner from The Art Museum & the Longfellow Monument and a short walk to Portland’s famous Old Port. The Inn is the perfect home base for exploring Portland’s renowned shops, restaurants and waterfront.
Close at hand are Casco Bay’s ferry terminal to the Maine Islands, the international ferry terminal, and the Old Port area with its cobbled streets, colorful shops and many fine restaurants are steps away from the Inn. Portland Maine, Voted America’s Foodiest Small towns 2009.
All guest rooms offer private baths, located on the second and third floors. We want your visit to the Inn to be relaxing, and comfortable. It is our hope that you will feel at home.
Your innkeeper and host Buddy Marcum takes great pride in creating a relaxing getaway. Comfortable accommodations await you along with a five star dining experience in the morning. In addition to owning the Inn at Park Spring Buddy is also a flight attendant with United Airlines based out of Boston. John, the Assistant Innkeeper had a 15 year career in real estate property management and 7 years in radio. He has always had a love for cooking and baking and attended Culinary Arts school for 2 years. His enthusiasm shines right through as he is a true foodie at heart and will share his love for food and all things Portland with you!

Locate Our Inn
From the South on I-95 (Maine Pike):
Take exit 44 onto route I-295 for approx 2.1 mi. to Portland exit 4. Cross the river favoring right lane and at the Light and turn right which puts you on Commercial Street . Stay on Commercial (for a little over a mi.) going under the Casco Bay Bridge . Continue pass Park St. (one way) and a gas station on your left. Turn left at the next Red Light (High St.- Becky’s Dinner will be on your right). Cross York , Danforth & Pleasant Streets and turn left at what will be the 3rd Red Light (Spring St.). The Inn is at the next blinking light (intersection Spring & Park St.) There is a 15-minute free parking on the right, in front of the Inn & West End Grocery at the blinking light.
From the North on I-295:
Take the Forest Avenue South, Exit 6A. Keep in the right lane, and turn right at the traffic light, through Deering Oaks Park, following the route 77 signs south (State Street). Stay in the left lane as you approach the top of the hill and turn left at the light onto Congress Street (at the Longfellow Monument). Proceed one block and turn right onto Park Street. The Inn will be on your (near) left, at the Blinking Light at the first intersection (Spring & Park Streets).
Temporarily park on the side or in front of the Inn to check in and unload. You will then be assigned a convenient reserved parking space for your stay with us.

The tastefully updated Inn at Park Spring occupies an 1835 brick townhouse in Portland’s upscale West End neighborhood, putting guests within easy walking distance of the sights, shops, and restaurants of downtown and the arts district. The guest rooms and public spaces are decorated with restraint (nothing froufrou here), and attentive innkeepers pamper guests with hearty breakfasts and afternoon treats.
